Fry Bread

 

Ingredients:

2 cups whole wheat flour

1 tsp salt

2 tbl oil

3 tsp baking powder

1 cup water

 

Directions:

Mix all ingredients together, adding flour until the dough no longer sticks to your hands. Let rest, covered with a towel, for 20 minutes. Tear off golf ball sized pieces, roll each into a circle 1/8" thick. Using a small amount of oil in a well seasoned cast iron skillet, fry over a medium heat until both sides are lightly browned.
