The Frugal Kitchen

Mushroom Soup and Toast

This is another lunchtime meal I remember from my childhood. It is very simple, filling, and surprisingly good.

Ingredients:

1  10 1/2 oz can of Campbell's Cream of Mushroom Soup

10 oz Whole Milk

White bread, toasted, dry.

 

Directions:

Pour soup into saucepot, add milk, and whisk together. Rip the toast apart into bitesized pieces and place in a soup bowl or mug. Pour soup on top, and eat.
